BEACHES

There is something about the sound of the waves against the shore, the birds gliding against the wind, the cold December air against your skin. We stopped, for an hour, an afternoon…sometimes for the whole day and night. The west side of Vancouver Island held unexpected adventures as we explored a number of beaches up the coast, each with a personality of its own. Rocks, sand, trees, waves, weather that set a mood that we easily fell into.
