FERRY PEOPLE

Ferry People is a study of the suspended moment.
Out on the water, no one belongs to where they came from — not yet to where they’re going. Faces turn toward wind and distance. Hands grip rails. Eyes drift somewhere private. I photograph these crossings — the quiet rehearsals, the unspoken endings, the small beginnings. A ferry is a moving threshold. And in that drifting middle, something shifts. We are all ferry people.

I’m chasing real—those split seconds where something cracks open and you can see the human underneath.
Witness is a collection of that: streets, faces, weather, silence, chaos, beauty… and the odd kind of peace you only get when you’re paying attention.
